D*mn: Two people were injured in a shooting as police arrived!

BENTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WNDU) – The Benton Township Police Department says two people were injured in a shooting on Sunday morning at Briarwood Apartments.

Officers were initially called to the apartment complex for a disturbance but heard gunshots on the opposite side of the building once they arrived on scene.

They found a 25-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman suffering from gunshot wounds. Both of their injuries are said to be non-life-threatening.

Police say a person of interest in this shooting has been identified, but they are not releasing that information at this time.
