As crowds gathered at Myrtle Beach this weekend 2 shootings broke out. The 2nd shooting was caught on video.

Around 12:25 on Sunday morning June 18th officers were responding to a report of a shooting and large crowds near 5th Avenue North and Ocean Boulevard, according to Lt. Joey Crosby of the Myrtle Beach Police Department.

Before officers arrived, a fight broke out between several people which is seen on video. During the fight, a black male wearing a white shirt took out a gun and began firing several shots. Multiple people were struck including a security guard.

A security officer shot the shooter and the shooter fled the scene by carjacking a vehicle.

7 people, including the suspect were injured. A patrol car was struck by bullets. Provided by Bubba Hinson.
